As an Allocator, you will play a key role in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time across our retail and eCommerce channels. Working closely with Planning, Buying, Retail and Distribution Centre teams, you'll use data-driven insights and commercial thinking to optimise inventory performance, support trading outcomes and maximise sales opportunities across your assigned store portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical and commercially minded individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and making an impact through effective inventory management and allocation strategies.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Managing allocations and replenishment activities across your assigned division and store portfolio.
- Executing stock allocation strategies to maximise sales, inventory productivity and customer demand.
- Supporting new season launches, promotional campaigns and key trading periods through effective stock distribution.
- Monitoring sales, inventory levels and trading performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Optimising stock levels through transfers, consolidations and inventory rebalancing initiatives.
- Providing insights and recommendations to support commercial decision-making and trading performance.
- Partnering closely with Planning, Buying, Retail and Distribution Centre teams to achieve business objectives.
- Contributing to post-season analysis, sizing reviews and future inventory planning.
- Maintaining accurate allocation data and supporting continuous improvement of systems and processes.
About you
You're highly organised, analytically driven and thrive on turning data into action. You enjoy solving problems, working collaboratively with stakeholders and making commercially sound decisions that drive business performance.
You'll bring a strong understanding of retail inventory management and have the confidence to challenge, recommend and influence outcomes through data-backed insights.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in allocation, merchandise planning or inventory management within a retail, fashion or consumer products environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales trends, inventory performance and trading data.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with retail planning and inventory systems.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail KPIs.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience managing a store portfolio or product division will be highly regarded.
