We’re looking for a
Senior Pastry Chef to join the lamination team at our
Lonsdale St CBD venue This is a full-time role for someone who is passionate about pastry and lamination, thrives in a fast-paced production environment, and is motivated to continually grow their skills.
Working in beautifully designed facilities with a progressive workplace culture, you’ll be part of the team responsible for producing our signature viennoiserie to the highest standards. You’ll bring both technical skill and a willingness to collaborate, while maintaining quality, speed, and consistency across every stage of production.
What the role involves:
- Hands-on production of viennoiserie from start to finish
- Assist with the day-to-day coordination of kitchen staff to align with production requirements
- Deliver the training of line staff, including the providing of feedback and guidance to support development of junior staff
- Ensuring that high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation are maintained to company standards
- Working as part of a cohesive team to meet daily production goals
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high calibre pastry production or restaurant kitchen
- Ideally has previous kitchen leadership experience (desirable, not essential)
- Demonstrates resilience, accountability, and a positive attitude
- Is motivated, ambitious, and determined to excel in their craft
- Has full working rights in Australia, can work full-time hours and is flexible with their rostered days
