Position Description
The Safe Start Case Co-Ordinator is a role within the Muslim Women’s Support Centre of WA (MWSC), funded under the Safe Start Project.
MWSC provides inclusive, holistic and culturally sensitive support to Muslim women and their families in Western Australia. Through the Safe Start Project, MWSC is strengthening its capacity to support Muslim and CALD women, particularly during the perinatal period, who are experiencing or at risk of family and domestic violence.
The Safe Start Case Co-Ordinator will support the implementation of the Safe Start operating model within MWSC. The role is focused on client intake, basic needs assessment, referral co-ordination and client follow-up. The position will help ensure clients are connected to appropriate specialist services and remain engaged during the referral and support process.
The role will work closely with MWSC management, the Safe Start Project members, and other referral partners to support culturally safe, trauma-informed and faith-responsive pathways for women and families.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
