Roof Plumber Apprentice
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Roof Plumber Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the roofing industry while working alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
As an apprentice, you will receive hands-on training in all aspects of roof plumbing and metal roofing while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople and supervisors with daily roofing and roof plumbing tasks.
- Maintain clean, organised and safe work sites at the completion of each day and project.
- Keep company vehicles, factory and warehouse clean and well maintained.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company standards.
Typical Duties
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications to determine installation requirements.
- Assist with erecting scaffolding and operating elevated work platforms.
- Install battens, top hats, safety mesh, insulation and roof sheeting.
- Install roof plumbing products including flashings, rainwater goods, pumps and water tanks.
- Fabricate and install custom metal flashings.
- Carry out roof maintenance and repairs.
- Assess work quality and comply with relevant Australian Standards and local authority requirements.
- Clean work areas and remove debris upon completion of each project.

Training & Qualifications
Successful applicants will work towards a nationally recognised qualification, including one of the following:
- Certificate III in Roof Plumbing.
- Certificate III in Plumbing (Roofing Stream).
- Certificate III in Plumbing.
- Certificate III in Metal Roofing Trade.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $70,000.00 per year
