Allied Health Assistant ( Auslan Preferred)
AASK Therapy is looking for a passionate and reliable Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our growing team in Sydney.
We are a mobile therapy service supporting NDIS participants across occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physiotherapy.
About the Role
You will work under the supervision of qualified therapists to support clients in achieving their therapy goals, with a strong focus on hydrotherapy programs
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing therapy programs designed by therapists
- Support clients during hydrotherapy sessions
- Facilitate exercises and activities in water-based settings
- Provide feedback and progress updates to supervising therapists
- Travel to client locations (including pools and community settings)
Essential Requirements
- Experience as an Allied Health Assistant or similar role
- Hydrotherapy experience (highly desirable / preferred)
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
