An Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator focuses on protecting workers, managing environmental impacts, and keeping high-risk construction projects legally compliant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Authoring and updating site-specific EHS management frameworks and risk assessments.
Leading site safety walks, compliance audits, and hazard identifications.
Investigating site injuries or near-misses, finding root causes, and tracking corrective plans.
Conducting site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and workforce onboarding programs.
Partnering with subcontractors and suppliers to enforce strict corporate safety policies.
Packaging weekly and monthly environmental metrics for corporate review.
Requirements:
A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is mandatory. A higher Diploma or specialized environmental management training is preferred.
Prior experience handling safety protocols within high-risk construction, civil engineering, or heavy industrial settings.
Familiarity with ISO certification audits and Federal Safety Commissioner guidelines.
Pay: $7,500.00 – $9,160.00 per month
