Kojiro Japanese Restaurant is a well-loved local restaurant in Mosman, serving authentic Japanese cuisine with warmth and care for over a decade. Our newly renovated restaurant is a place where guests feel at home, and our team takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences.
We are now looking for enthusiastic Front of House (Waitstaff) to join our friendly and professional team.
Position Description
As part of our Front of House team, you’ll be the face of Kojiro, ensuring every guest receives warm, attentive, and professional hospitality. Whether you’re greeting customers, taking orders, or serving dishes, your role is to create a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
Essential Duties
- Greeting and seating guests with warmth and professionalism
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving food and drinks while maintaining excellent presentation
- Setting up and clearing tables, and maintaining a clean dining environment
- Providing attentive and friendly service throughout each guest’s visit
- Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Individual Requirements
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive team attitude
- Honest, reliable, and professional
- Must be available to work every Monday (essential)
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
- Legal right to work in Australia
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $26.50 – $37.50 per hour
