We're looking for an experienced Team Leader – Operational Support Training to lead our Operational Support Training team within Insurance Claims. You'll play a key role in building capability across our back-office operations, ensuring our people have the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver exceptional service while supporting continuous improvement across the business.

What you'll be doing
As Team Leader – Operational Support Training, you'll lead a team of trainers responsible for developing capability across RAC's Insurance back-office operations. You'll ensure learning solutions are practical, engaging and aligned to business needs, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, coaching and developing a team of Operational Support Trainers to create a high-performing and engaged function.

Overseeing the end-to-end training lifecycle, from learning design and delivery through to evaluation and continuous improvement.

Delivering and enhancing onboarding, induction and upskilling programs that enable employees to become confident and competent quickly.

Using performance data, feedback and business insights to identify capability gaps and measure training effectiveness.

Partnering with operational leaders, subject matter experts and project teams to ensure learning solutions support changing business needs.

Maintaining high-quality training content, knowledge resources and documentation that remain current with systems, policies and regulatory requirements.

Supporting organisational change by preparing teams with the knowledge and skills needed to adopt new processes and ways of working.

Planning team resources to meet operational demand while delivering high-quality learning experiences.
What you will bring:

Experience leading or coaching a training or learning team in a fast-paced operational environment.

Strong facilitation skills and experience applying adult learning principles.

Operational knowledge within insurance, financial services or another regulated industry.

The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple levels.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.

Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
-
Experience working with learning technologies, knowledge management systems and Microsoft Office.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is desirable
