Supporting Abilities For Everyone (S.A.F.E) is seeking an experienced disability support worker for a female participant in Frankston.
About Participant:
- 47 year old female participant
- Psychosocial disability, ADHD, Bipolar, Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and panic attacks.
- Support may include: companionship, basic domestic assistance, community access, engagement in hobbies/interests, supporting 14 year old child (ASD/ADHD).
- Participant interests include arts/crafts, sewing, fashion design, hand making jewellery, bike riding.
- Similar interests required/highly advantageous.
- Female support workers only.
- Immediate start, shadow shift provided.
About You:
- Female support worker (participant preference)
- Experience with psychosocial disabilities favourable
- Must have a car
- Can start ASAP (shadow shift provided by current support staff)
Shifts Available:
- Day(s) and time(s) flexible. Preferred availability of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday as appointments tend to fall on these days.
- Evening shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:00pm - 8:00pm or 7:00pm - 9:00pm. These shifts will be supporting both this participant and her son (NDIS participant)
Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
- The right to work in Australia.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $40.00 – $86.00 per hour
