About the Role
As Assistant Operations Manager, you will support the delivery of seamless day-to-day operations across the venue, reporting to the Operations Manager. You’ll lead teams, drive performance, and ensure a consistently high standard of customer experience, safety, and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service
- Monitoring performance and driving productivity and cost improvements
- Coordinating across departments to ensure aligned execution
- Managing labour, rostering, and operational resources effectively
- Leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Maintaining strong service standards and resolving customer issues proactively
- Supporting workforce planning and team capability development
- Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG, WHS, and operational controls
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in hospitality operations leadership
- Strong knowledge of gaming and venue operations
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Solid commercial acumen across labour, costs, and performance
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
- RSA, RCG, ARCG & WWCC (or ability to obtain)
