Job Description:
The Electrical Engineering Draftsperson is responsible for preparing and coordinating detailed electrical engineering drawings, BIM models and technical documentation for construction projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and supporting engineers and project teams throughout the design and delivery process.
Daily tasks include:
- Preparing electrical drafting and construction documentation using AutoCAD in accordance with Australian standards and building codes.
- Producing 3D Revit models for electrical services and BIM coordination.
- Performing clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination between electrical, mechanical and architectural services.
- Preparing lighting layouts, lux calculations and compliance reports using Dialux.
- Assisting with quantities take-offs and project estimations.
- Reviewing and updating technical drawings and documentation for construction projects.
- Coordinating with engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting with revisions and modifications during project delivery stages.
Requirements:
- Level of required qualification: Minimun Diploma or Advanced Diploma. At least 3 years of work experience can substitute the formal qualification.
- Number of years of experience: At least one year of experience in the occupation or closely related occupation.
$88,920 per annum plus superannuation (38 hours per week).
Pay: $88,920.00 per year
