Position Overview
The ICT Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with business clients using the pay.com.au platform, ensuring that clients receive suitable technology-based payment solutions aligned with their operational and financial needs. The role involves identifying prospective clients, presenting the platform’s features and benefits, negotiating service plans and commercial terms, and coordinating the successful onboarding, training and activation of new accounts.
The ICT Account Manager also acts as a key point of contact for existing clients by monitoring platform usage, providing guidance on system features and PayRewards, identifying opportunities for upgrades and additional services, and resolving technical or service-related concerns. The position plays an important role in supporting client retention and business growth by maintaining accurate account records, reporting on sales and platform performance, analysing client feedback, and collaborating with product and leadership teams to improve the company’s technology solutions and overall client experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As an ICT Account Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- Actively research and generate target client lists using online databases, industry directories, referrals, and CRM insights to identify potential business clients suitable for the pay.com.au platform.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pay.com.au platform features, upgrades, and competitor offerings to position the company strategically in a fast-evolving fintech and payments market.
- Act as a platform expert guide clients through all features of the pay.com.au system to ensure smooth onboarding, active usage, and long-term success.
- Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, such as premium platform upgrades or value-added services, that enhance client outcomes.
- Educate clients on the PayReward points including how they can be utilised and the benefits they offer and assisting clients in strategically using their PayReward points for maximum value.
- Prepares cost–benefit analyses, negotiates plan pricing and terms based on client needs, and facilitates contract completion, accurately recording all agreements and onboarding details.
- Coordinates end-to-end client onboarding, including account setup, platform training, integration support, and activation of new features or services as required.
- Provides regular performance reports, pipeline updates, and client feedback to management, highlighting trends, platform adoption, and areas for product development.
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and expense reports to support internal forecasting and performance tracking.
- Maintains close post-sale relationships, conducts regular check-ins to assess platform satisfaction, and resolves any technical or service-related issues promptly to ensure ongoing success.
- Provide feedback to the product and leadership teams based on client input to continuously improve our offering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to details and precision in all aspects of work.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
