Seeking experienced Assistant Coordinator for our Scarborough OSHC team!
Southern Cross Catholic College OSHC (Frawley Campus, Scarborough) is seeking a passionate and experienced Educator/Assistant Coordinator to join our friendly, growing team. Applicants must hold a minimum 2-year relevant qualification and be available to work a split shift, five days per week.
Our service operates before school care from 6:30am–8:30am and after school care from 3:00pm–6:00pm. We are currently expanding our service, with a licence increase from 60 to 90 places.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:
- Program planning, delivery, and documentation
- Staff rostering and supervision
- Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA Equivalent
- Previous experience in the education and care of children in a similar role.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Child Protection Training is a requirement of this role.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
