Northpark Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and clinically exceptional Neurostimulation Coordinator to provide advanced leadership and coordination of our specialist neurostimulation services.
This is a senior clinical specialist role offering a unique opportunity to lead and shape the delivery of evidence-based interventional mental health treatments within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
The Neurostimulation Coordinator is responsible for the clinical coordination, governance and quality oversight of neurostimulation and interventional mental health therapies, including:

Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS)
-
Esketamine Therapy
Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will provide expert clinical leadership to ensure treatments are delivered safely, ethically and in line with legislative, accreditation and professional standards.

Provide advanced clinical practice and leadership in mental health neurostimulation therapies

Coordinate patient flow, scheduling and communication across inpatient, outpatient and theatre settings

Act as the central clinical liaison between psychiatrists, anaesthetists, nursing, allied health and perioperative teams

Lead clinical governance, safety and quality activities, including consent, risk management, audit and incident review

Contribute to policy development, accreditation and quality improvement initiatives

Deliver clinical education, consultancy and mentorship to nursing and multidisciplinary staff

Advocate for patient-centred, recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care
You are a highly capable mental health nurse with demonstrated senior clinical leadership, sound judgement and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Essential:
-
Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
-
Formal training or credentialing in ECT and/or rTMS and/or Esketamine therapy, with the willingness to complete training across all modalities

Significant experience in mental health nursing

Demonstrated leadership

Strong communication, coordination and clinical governance skills
Desirable:

Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing or a related field

Experience coordinating specialist or interventional psychiatry services

Involvement in audit, accreditation or quality improvement activities
