You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $481,935 (L27) comprising salary rates between $106.39 (L18) and $134.90 (L27) p.h., motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.

As a Senior Medical Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you'll play a vital role in improving health outcomes for women and families across the region. From delivering specialist care to supporting colleagues and strengthening services, you'll be part of a team committed to safe, high-quality care and continuous improvement.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Delivering outstanding obstetric and gynaecology care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, patient-centred outcomes and seamless care.
Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and education that strengthens capability across the service.
Driving quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based practice to enhance patient experiences.

Specialist registration and recognised qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, or equivalent eligible qualifications.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience supporting rural services and/or a strong background in teaching and mentoring medical practitioners.
