Karras Cold Logistics, now part of NewCold, is a leading provider of transport services committed to delivering excellence, reliability, and outstanding customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our Allocations team.
This role is based on an afternoon shift, working from 12:00pm to 8:06pm, and offers an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively to support transport operations.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the company fleet to ensure timely and efficient transport services.
- Coordinate metro deliveries and collections to support a seamless flow of goods
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships with a focus on service excellence
- Optimise utilisation of assets and labour resources
- Contribute to cost management initiatives by identifying and driving operational efficiencies
- Quickly resolve live distribution issues, working closely with the Customer Service Team and customers to maintain service levels.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating agility, initiative, and attention to detail.
Skills & Experience
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in Transport and Logistics, with a strong understanding of industry operations and standards
- Knowledgeable with Sydney Metropolitan routes and interstate logistics operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels
- Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and compliance requirements is essential.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges
- Working knowledge of HACCP principles, particularly within transport and food safety contexts, is required.
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Professional and motivated, with a strong drive to achieve results
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in time-sensitive or high-pressure situations.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
