You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $381,337 (L18) up to $476,304 (L27) comprising salary rates between $103.79 (L18) and $131.60 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.

As an Anaesthetist, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care in a busy regional hospital. From perioperative planning to acute pain management and team collaboration, you'll help shape outcomes that matter to patients, families and the community.

Deliver specialist anaesthesia care to improve patient safety and recovery across surgical and maternity services
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support confident, patient-centred decisions
Drive improvements in quality, safety and service delivery through clinical insight
Support future clinicians through teaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing

Specialist registration (or eligibility) in Anaesthesia in Australia
Proven experience delivering high-quality anaesthetic care across clinical settings
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and lead
Commitment to safety, improvement and evidence-based care
You'll stand out with regional or rural experience, or a background in teaching, research or advanced training. Final-year trainees completing anaesthesia training in early 2027 are encouraged to apply for 2027 roles.
