What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

You are someone who delivers safe, efficient and thoughtful nursing care with a clear focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for every patient in your care. You take pride in working collaboratively, communicating openly and ensuring that patients, carers and colleagues feel informed, supported and respected. You see your role not only as a clinician but also as a mentor, actively assisting, guiding and contributing to the education and development of Enrolled Nurses and fellow Registered Nurses.
Within your team, you foster an environment where open communication, problem solving and team building are part of everyday practice. You promote evidence‑based care and champion continuous quality improvement, always looking for ways to strengthen clinical practice within the ward or unit. Your approach to healthcare planning, delivery and evaluation is grounded in professionalism, accountability and a commitment to excellence.
You practice in alignment with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s professional standards, the NSW Health Code of Conduct and CORE values, ensuring that your actions consistently reflect integrity, compassion and respect. You actively contribute to patient safety initiatives and quality improvement programs, engaging in practices that support innovation and lead to the best possible health outcomes. At your core, you are dedicated to creating a culture where safety, clinical quality and patient‑centred care are always at the forefront.
