About the Role
We're seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join our team supporting a participant in
Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This is a casual ongoing opportunity providing consistent 1:1 support, with regular shifts of approximately 4-6 hours per day. You'll play an important role in helping the participant maintain their independence while delivering high-quality, person-centred support at home and in the community.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing light personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and household duties
- Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping
- Supporting community access, appointments and social participation
- Providing practical support with everyday activities as required
- Building positive relationships while delivering person-centred support
- Following care plans and maintaining accurate documentation
About You
- Experience supporting people with disability
- A caring, patient and reliable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a home-based support environment
- Holds a valid P2 or Open Driver Licence
- Holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
