HHR manages a significant and growing property portfolio in Queensland. As part of our commitment to improving the communities in which we operate, funds raised by HHR in its management of rental properties and rental assistance programs are reinvested in building and managing more properties, expanding our capacity to assist those in housing stress.
The Role
Providing exceptional customer service to our key stakeholders is essential to the successful operation of our property management services. In this role, your main activities will include:

Supporting initial leasing activity, including responding to enquiries, coordinating viewings, and assisting with applications alongside the Property Manager

Maintaining accurate property and tenancy data in all required systems – this is a high priority and requires strong attention to detail

Assisting in managing Residential Tenancy Authority (RTA) Bond processes and loans

Assisting in ensuring the timely, accurate and efficient operation of CHL rental collection and arrears recovery systems

Working closely with stakeholders and relevant CHL and HHR departments to ensure long‑term, sustainable tenancies

Coordinating financial and administrative tasks to CHL standards, including reporting, complaints, compliance, quality and accountability requirements

Assisting in valuations, condition reports, inspections, tenancy sign‑up, entry procedures, lease and rent reviews, and exit procedures

Providing appropriate support to the wider team and organisation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualities and experience:

A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role is desirable

Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) – mandatory

Knowledge and understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act, National Residential Affordability Scheme, and landlord insurance processes

A strong commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing
-
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
-
A proactive, client‑focused approach with strong written and verbal communication skills
-
A current driver’s licence
Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff, and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
