Expression of Interest – Disability Support Workers | Bundaberg Region
Assigned Guardian Angels (AGA) is seeking expressions of interest from compassionate, reliable and experienced Disability Support Workers across the Bundaberg region.
We are building a local team to support current and upcoming participants requiring individualised support within their homes and communities.
About the Role
Depending on participant needs, duties may include:
- Personal care and assistance with daily living
- Community access and social participation
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Supporting participants to work towards their individual goals
- Following individual support plans and risk-management strategies
- Completing accurate progress notes and incident documentation
- Providing respectful, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and dignity
As some participants may require supports across days, evenings, weekends and overnight periods, applicants with flexible availability are strongly encouraged to apply.
What We're Looking For
Successful applicants should have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check, where required
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Relevant disability/community services qualifications or experience are highly regarded
- Experience with personal care, manual handling or complex support needs is advantageous
About You
We are looking for people who are reliable, patient, professional and genuinely committed to supporting people with disability.
You must be comfortable working independently, following participant-specific instructions and communicating effectively with participants, families and the AGA team.

Pay: $36.81 per hour
