Experienced Barista / All Rounder – Grow With 38 South

We’re searching for someone who takes pride in their work, brings positive energy every shift, and wants to help us continue building one of the area’s best brunch destinations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced café, has high standards, and wants to be part of a team that’s always improving.
About You
You have solid café experience, love working with people, and understand that every interaction matters. You don’t wait to be told what to do—you see what needs doing and get it done.
You care about consistency, work well under pressure, and believe that the little details make all the difference.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a barista in a busy café.
- Confident producing consistently excellent coffee during high-volume service.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder adjustments, milk texturing, and workflow.
- Friendly, engaging personality with outstanding customer service.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Reliability, professionalism, and excellent time management.
- High standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation.
- A genuine team-first mindset.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional coffee with consistency and care.
- Create genuine connections with our customers and provide outstanding service.
- Work across all areas of the café, supporting the team wherever required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.
- Follow food safety and café procedures to a high standard.
