About the role
We are seeking experienced, emotionally intelligent Disability Support Workers who are ready to provide high-quality, person-centred care across Short-Term Accommodation (STA), Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA), and Supported Independent Living (SIL).
- Casual shifts available: day, evening, and overnight sleepovers
- Based at our luxury home in Parklea
- Availability for at least one sleepover shift per week (paid allowance)
What you'll be doing
- Provide warm, person-centred support to adults with acquired brain injury and mild intellectual or physical disabilities
- Assist with personal care, medication, and daily routines with dignity and respect
- Support participants across STA, MTA, and SIL, including day, evening, and overnight sleepover shifts
- Help participants take part in community access and the everyday activities they enjoy
- Create genuine moments of joy and connection while supporting independence and choice
- Keep clear, accurate notes and follow individual support plans and policies
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
Mandatory requirements
- 2+ years' experience in a similar environment or a related health care sector
- Confidence supporting personal care, medication, and daily routines
- Communicates with warmth, patience, and professionalism
- An understanding of person-centred active support, and a love of creating moments of joy
- Certificate III or IV in Disability (or a willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or a willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or a willingness to obtain)
