Band 4 - Salary Range $74,283 to $78,754 per annum + 12% Super + ADO

The Opportunity
The Operations team delivers several high profile services for our community, including parks and tree maintenance, waste collection, the Melton Recycling Facility, cleaning and graffiti removal, infrastructure maintenance and emergency management.
Reporting to and supporting the Manager Operations, the Business Support Officer provides critical administrative and operational support across a range of business units and actively liaises with our community, staff and contractors to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Council’s Operations Business Unit including the preparation of correspondence, organising meetings, tracking Councillor enquiries and other miscellaneous duties.
- Scheduling, developing agendas and meetings minutes.
- Prepare payments for services relating to Civil Operations, Parks and Open Space and Emergency Management units.
- Day to day administrative support across the Operations business unit.
- Overseeing office and pool vehicle requirements for the Operations Centre.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Certificate 3 in Business Administration or knowledge and skills gained through 'on the job' training commensurate with the requirements of this role.
- Experience working in and supporting a multi-disciplined team to achieve set objectives.
- Proven administrative skills, including the ability to coordinate correspondence, meetings, minutes, diaries and payments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own work activities and respond to ongoing customer requests.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build solid working relationships across teams and with contractors.
- Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
