We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Concession Manager to lead our team at Sportscraft & JAG Womenswear & Menswear MYER Melbourne Store.
Support the Concession Manager to drive our brands’ performance across multiple concession pads in Myer. You will do this through the key areas of sales, people support, visual merchandising/brand presentation, rostering and labour awareness, and customer experience.
As an Assistant Concession Manager, you will act as a brand ambassador for all our brands, supporting and motivating your team to provide exceptional and personalised customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting sales and rankings across all brands and pads, constantly monitoring, tracking and responding
- Personally drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service to lead by example
- Support the team to ensure KPIs and sales targets are met
- Commercial awareness of customer profile, product lines and competitor activity
2. Build strong working relationships and communicate regularly with Myer store and floor management teams
- Work collaboratively with other concessions to ensure the best customer experience
- Support the Concession Manager in influencing Myer store, floor and operations management relationships to ensure brands are prioritised and well respected by the entire Myer business
3. Team support and day-to-day leadership
- Support the team in delivering store operations excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities
- Assist in attracting, engaging and retaining talent, helping build team capability
- Support a performance culture through encouraging leadership
- Assist with recruitment, induction and training as required
- Support coaching and development of team members through regular feedback and performance conversations
- Role model APG & Co values to create and consistently build a team experience that encourages learning, ownership and shared success
4. Deliver exceptional customer experience through on brand teams & product knowledge
- Maintain an up-to-date level of product knowledge ensuring you share your passion and insights with your customers and your team
- Understand the brand and business strategy and support the team play their part in delivering
- Assist in the resolution of customer queries and complaints
6. Operations, planning and administration
- Support the Concession Manager in maintaining an effective store roster that meets customer and team needs
- Ensure all business communication is acted upon on time and effectively shared with the team
- Support the implementation of new business initiatives
- Assist with stock control and management
- Loss prevention / theft awareness
- Compliance with APG & Co and Myer policies, procedures and processes
