KaRaTec Power Supplies is an Australian designer and manufacturer of professional power supplies, and is a proud member of the Australia Made Campaign. We are currently seeking an experience and committed Senior Electronic Engineer in the area of high frequency switchmode power converter design.
You must process a diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline such as IT or Industrial Engineering, as a minimum.
You must also have extensive hands-on industrial design experience (minimum 3 years) in the area of analogue electronics, high frequency DC-DC Converters, LED panels & lightings, in automotive or similar harsh environment (such as railway, mining etc). Fluent knowledge of Safety standards, EMC standards, PCB layout are required. Experience such as PFC, PWM and LLC converters is a must. Software/firmware programming skills in Assembly language and C language, and PoE protocol would definitely advantageous. Knowledge in PLC controller would also be advantageous. Any management background, skills or experience will also be considered heavily.
Reporting to the Operational Manager, your job duty will involve (but not limited to):
- Technical leadership and supervision of Junior Engineers.
- Research, design and development of new projects.
- Supervise engineering procedures and record keeping.
- Takeover and oversee existing product range.
- Creating custom and/or variant of products.
- Liaise with Mechanical team and Production team.
- Provide technical support to Production Team.
- Prepare technical proposal and tendering documents.
- Communication and validation of Vendors, local and overseas.
