Karratha Family Centre is seeking an organized, proactive and community-minded Centre Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy community centre.

About the Role
As Centre Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operation of the Centre and work closely with staff, volunteers, families, community partners and the Board of Directors.
Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Centre
✔ Supporting and supervising staff and volunteers
✔ Overseeing programs, room hire and community activities
✔ Managing administration systems and records
✔ Monitoring budgets, invoicing and financial administration through MYOB
✔ Building relationships with families, schools, community groups and stakeholders
✔ Supporting governance, compliance and reporting requirements
✔ Assisting with community engagement, marketing and communications
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
✔ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and MYOB (or similar accounting software)
✔ Leadership, coordination or management experience
✔ Experience supervising staff and/or volunteers
✔ Excellent organizational and time management skills
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
✔ Experience managing administration systems and competing priorities
✔ Financial administration experience, including invoicing and budget monitoring
✔ The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
Desirable Experience
- Not-for-profit or community sector experience
- Grant writing or funding applications
- Governance and compliance knowledge
- Experience in family, community or early years services
Employment Requirements
Successful applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:
- National Police Clearance
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid Certificate
A current driver's license is desirable.
