Since opening in 2013, LALA Hair Studio has built a reputation as one of Brisbane's leading colour salons, specialising in beautiful blondes, seamless balayage, lived-in colour and precision cutting.
Operating from our brand-new purpose-built salon in Woolloongabba, we are committed to delivering exceptional client experiences while providing our team with a supportive, professional and inspiring workplace.
Due to continued growth and strong client demand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Consulting with clients and recommending suitable hairstyles, colours, treatments and home hair care products.
- Cutting, colouring, styling, bleaching, highlighting, balayage, foiling, chemical services and other hair services.
- Washing, treating and preparing hair and scalp using professional salon products.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
- Managing appointments, maintaining client records and recommending retail products.
Skills & Experience Required
Applicants must possess:
- AQF Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Minimum two years' experience working as a qualified hairdresser in a busy salon environment.
- Advanced skills in blonde colouring, balayage, foiling and modern colour techniques.
- Strong cutting and finishing skills.
- Excellent client consultation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering premium quality work.
- A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a professional team.
