We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel and associated properties. This leadership role requires a hands-on professional who is passionate about hospitality, customer service, team development, and business performance.

AUD $79,500 – $89,000 per annum plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer satisfaction and actively manage customer feedback and reviews.
- Handle guest complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide guests with local tourism information and assist guests in arranging transportation.
- Ensure property presentation is of the highest standard.
- Supervise café, conference room, reservations, reception, room service, and housekeeping activities.
- Oversee hotel facilities such as gardens and general facility maintenance.
- Manage the company's other properties as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial and operational issues.
- Manage and lead team members to ensure efficient and effective daily hotel operations in compliance with OHS.
- Support team members to accomplish their tasks and KPIs.
- Drive a positive team culture and encourage professional development opportunities for all team members.
- Ensure company standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to and represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Work with the owner on marketing, revenue, budgets, forecasts, pricing, and business plans.
- Build relationships with all key stakeholders, including body corporate, guests, customers, team members, and potential clients.
- Assess and review hotel security plans for the entire property.
The Ideal Applicant Will Have:
- Previous operations management and leadership experience in a hotel operation.
- Experience in all hotel aspects preferred such as reception, housekeeping, accounts, purchasing, maintenance, and supervision.
- Minimum 1-year experience in accommodation business management role.
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and marketing skills.
- Leadership that leads from the front, not always from a desk.
- Strong focus on customer service and guest expectations.
- Ability to accept personal accountability and provide clear leadership and direction to all team members.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to speak multiple languages is desirable but not essential.
