Cloud Solutions Architect
The Setup
STB Technology Pty Ltd is recruiting a senior technical leader to step into our enterprise cloud architecture unit at 60 Martin Place, Sydney CBD. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an annual base salary of $140,000 + super.
The Directive
Your core mandate is to design, migrate, and optimize resilient cloud topologies for enterprise clients. You will take high-level business objectives and translate them into secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure blueprints, bridging the gap between engineering execution and stakeholder strategy.
Core Targets
- Design and implement secure, multi-region cloud landing zones and migration strategies.
- Drive automated infrastructure deployment pipelines using modern IaC tools.
- Evaluate legacy systems to architect cloud-native containerized microservices.
- Establish robust identity, access management, and governance frameworks across cloud tenants.
- Audit infrastructure costs and resource consumption to implement aggressive optimization structures.
Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years operating in a dedicated Cloud Architecture or Senior DevOps Engineering capacity.
- Deep technical command over public cloud platforms, specifically holding professional-level certifications in AWS or Azure.
- Practical deployment expertise utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for configuration management.
- Solid background in container orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes/EKS) and CI/CD engineering pipelines.
- Applicants must hold valid, unrestricted working rights within Australia to be based at our Sydney CBD headquarters.
