Full Time – Sports Instructor
City Gym Sydney Pty Ltd operates world renown City Gym located in Darlinghurst NSW.
City Gym is looking to hire a full-time sports instructor to oversee the cardio training classes and programs offered City Gym and to also provide training and support to the gym's members and guests in preparation for local, State and National competitions.
The successful candidate will be required to work out of our premises in Darlinghurst, NSW.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include:
- Coaching, training, and instructing the gym's present and future Instructors by analysing performances and developing abilities
- Motivating gym instructors and supervising classes and sessions run by instructors
- Assist in the recruiting of instructors and other coaching staff
- Promoting and arranging members entries into sporting competitions
- Coordinating and directing sporting activities (GF Classes), and liaising with other officials and instructors to interpret and enforce rules and regulations relating to sport competitions
We offer a competitive remuneration of $80,000.00 to 85,000.00 per annum excluding superannuation.
The successful candidate will have the following:
*A certificate III and one year of full-time relevant work experience; OR
*Three (3) years, relevant full-time work experience.
The relevant work experience must be in sports instruction and Training.
The successful candidate must also be passionate, proactive and have an eye for detail as well as an ability to work with minimal supervision.
