The Policy, Planning and Built Environment Group is seeking applications for the position of Policy Officer within the Strategic Policy and Legislation Branch. As a Policy Officer you will work in a multidisciplinary team to support a variety of policy, regulation, and legislative projects that improve on-ground outcomes, service delivery and the liveability of our city.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (such as law, business, policy, project or change management) or other qualifications and technical experience deemed equivalent would be highly regarded but not essential.
Notes: This is a temporary position available for a period of six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future vacancies over the next 12 months.
This position is located in a workplace designated for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
