Receptionist / Admin Assistant/Support Instructor
U4C Martial Arts is a very successful and established and growing martial arts academy running for over 8 years located at Regents Park with large number of members that include primary and high school kids as well as adult members. Dojo is providing skillfull training in various discipline of martial arts that includes, Karate, Kickboxing, MMA, Jujitsu and wrestling 6 days a week. We are seeking individual with strong work ethics and a passion for fitness and training. The job entails working in a busy environment and customer-facing, working with children and adults, male and female for 5 to 6 days a week in the afternoon. Dedicated and structured training will be provided to the right person demonstrating willingness to learn and develop skills that will be mutually beneficial. There is a career path of growth so we are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, stay with the company for a long haul and be training in all ascept of customer service, building people, leadership, martial arts programs as a tool to build children and individuals to improve quality of life and be rewarded for their contribution and efforts in achieving companies goals and objectives. Some experience in martial arts or fitness industry will be highly valuable, however an appreciatiion for fitness and training will be just a good. Duties involve cleaning the dojo, organising, receptionist role, customer service, data entry, handling phone enquiries, chasing payments, enrolling students and assisting Instructors on the floor as required in a high volume fast paced and family friendly environment. Female is preferred as some part of the job requires handling children both male and females with uniforms and gear for training as well as assistance during any injuries.
Experience or sound knowledge of using Microsoft Office, Canva, AI Tools is essential
Organisation Skills. Ability to work under pressure.
Honest and trustworthy person able to handle cash money.
Supporting Instructors with day-to-day activities. Any experience working with children and adults in any field of fitness and exercise programs will be highly regarded.
Ability to post activities and programs on social media platforms.
Pleasant manner with good attitude a must as daily communication face to face and over the phone with all members, parents and children.
Must have or qualify for a Working with Children Check. First Aid Certificate Preferred however training and qualification will be provided on the job.
Ability to commute to work easily is essential. Applicants who live within the close proximity of Regents Park will be preferred.
Remuneration will be tailored according to experience and meeting KPI and companies goals and objectives.
Working hours are 230pm to 700pm Monday to Thursday and 900am to 100pm Saturdays.
Pay: $550.00 – $850.00 per week
