Service Delivery Officer | Bundaberg
Are you highly organised, customer-focused, and experienced in rostering and or support work? We are seeking a proactive Service Delivery Officer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality disability support services.
This position has a strong rostering focus and is responsible for coordinating staff schedules, supporting participants and support workers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in line with organisational and SCHADS Award requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain staff rosters to meet participant needs and operational requirements.
- Manage roster changes, leave requests, shift coverage, cancellations, and new service commencements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to participants, support workers, and stakeholders via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Monitor workforce utilisation, contracted hours, and staffing requirements.
- Maintain accurate participant and workforce records, reporting, and documentation.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, inductions, and workforce administration activities.
- Conduct compliance and quality assurance checks, including participant file audits.
- Collaborate with Service Delivery, People & Culture, and operational teams to achieve positive service outcomes.
- Contribute to reporting, data collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in rostering, administration, service delivery, or a related field.
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- The ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with participants, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Experience working within the disability/community services sector will be highly regarded.
- Understanding of disability support, rehabilitation, capacity building, and participant-centred service delivery is desirable.
