About the Role
Are you an electrician who enjoys fault finding, machinery and hands-on industrial work? Join the afternoon shift at ABFI Steel Group and put your skills to work across a busy steel manufacturing environment.
We’re looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to keep our workshop, machinery and electrical systems running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance and breakdowns
- Fault finding, repairs and electrical troubleshooting
- Industrial machinery, motors, VFDs, PLCs and control systems
- Electrical installations, distribution boards and sub-circuits
- Overhead cranes, compressors and workshop equipment
- Installation, relocation and commissioning of machinery
- Lighting, power, data, conduits and general electrical works
Testing, verification and compliance

Skills and Experience
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence – essential
- Industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Practical, hands-on approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
