About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, trauma-informed Support Worker to work with a wonderful client currently based in Ivanhoe (note: client is considering relocating, so flexibility around location may be required in future). This role suits someone genuinely outdoorsy and up for adventure — think hikes, outings, and getting out into the community - paired with a calm, informed approach to mental health and neurodivergent support.
Key Responsibilities
Providing trauma-informed support tailored to the client's needs
Supporting a client with mental health considerations
Supporting a client who is neurodivergent, with patience and understanding
Engaging in outdoor activities and community access, including hikes and adventures
Building a trusting, respectful, and consistent support relationship
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience in support work
Demonstrated experience with trauma-informed care
Experience supporting clients with mental health needs
Experience supporting neurodivergent clients
Genuinely outdoorsy, active, and up for adventure-based outings
Valid driver's licence
Own vehicle with current registration and comprehensive car insurance
Reliable, flexible, and available on an as-needed casual basis
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)
