Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a part-time or casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly professional nurse with a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care in a premium clinic environment.
As part of the team at Macquarie Animal Hospital, you will work closely alongside our veterinarians across surgery, hospital and reception, contributing to a supportive and high-performing team culture where no two days are the same. This role is ideally suited to someone looking to further develop their career long term, with future opportunities to step into a leadership position for the right candidate.
What we’re looking for:

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (essential).

Previous experience as a Veterinary Nurse, with strong knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and patient care standards.

Experience with EzyVet is highly regarded, though not essential.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to contribute positively within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Ability to remain composed and organised in a fast-paced, high-standard clinical environment.
