Join our top-ranked Band 1 Real Estate team and take your career to the next level. We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Associate to join our Melbourne practice on a permanent basis.
About the Role
Working alongside Real Estate Partners Alison Kennedy and Jerome Martin, you will advise major institutional, corporate, and government clients on market-leading and high-profile transactions across all major asset classes, including commercial, industrial, retail, residential, infrastructure, data centres, and renewables.
With an unrivalled portfolio of major commercial and government clients, our team is recognised as a trusted adviser to many of the most prominent participants in the Australian real estate market.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Lead complex property transactions with a high degree of autonomy, managing matters from instruction through to completion;

Draft clear, commercially focused advice tailored to sophisticated clients;

Build and manage client relationships, including presenting directly to client stakeholders;

Mentor and coach junior lawyers within the team, fostering their professional growth; and
-
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking candidates with approximately 6–8 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in a leading property practice. The ideal candidate will have:

Broad transactional experience across multiple property classes, with government sector experience being highly desirable;

Ability to lead transactions with support from partners, together with exceptional organisational skills to manage competing priorities and attention to detail;

Strong commercial instincts and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service; and
-
Confidence in independently building and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships.
