Experienced Early Childhood Teacher – Part-Time or Full-Time Innova Academy Early Education – Heidelberg Heights
Innova Academy Early Education, located in Heidelberg Heights, is seeking a passionate, caring and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our dedicated team.

About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher at Innova Academy, you will:
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF and VEYLDF.
- Create a nurturing, safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Build strong, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
- Support children's individual learning, development and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with educators and the leadership team.
- Contribute to observations, assessment, documentation and children's learning portfolios.
- Use intentional teaching and responsive interactions to extend children's learning.
- Contribute to the service's QIP and continuous improvement.
- Maintain high standards of practice in accordance with the NQS and Victorian Child Safe Standards.
Essential Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
- An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification and current VIT registration.
- Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF and NQS.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training and Geccko training.
- Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs.
- A positive and professional approach to working with families, educators and management.
