We're looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our Talent team on a full-time, 12-week contract based at our Support Office in Cremorne. This exciting opportunity runs throughout September, October and November, helping us recruit the incredible people who make the holiday season a success across our retail brands.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting recruitment across some of Australia's biggest and most-loved retail brands. No two days are the same, and you'll play an important role in helping us find amazing talent to join the Accent Group family.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Christmas Recruitment Project, you'll work closely with our Recruitment Partners and Hiring Managers to support the end-to-end recruitment process, including:
- Screening and shortlisting candidates against key selection criteria
- Conducting phone interviews and providing timely feedback
- Posting job advertisements across multiple platforms
- Coordinating one-on-one and group interviews
- Completing reference checks
- Assisting with offers, contracts and onboarding administration
- Delivering a positive candidate experience from application through to offer
- Supporting the wider Talent team to ensure a successful Christmas recruitment campaign
Who We're Looking For
You'll be someone who enjoys working at pace, loves connecting with people and can confidently manage multiple priorities.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- A positive, energetic and adaptable attitude
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Previous recruitment experience (retail recruitment is a bonus, but not essential)
- Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, can-do approach and strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage a high-volume workload while delivering a great candidate experience
- A genuine passion for recruitment, people and retail
- A collaborative team mindset with a willingness to jump in and support wherever needed
