We’re looking for an experienced Foreman to lead the delivery of major civil construction projects across the Sunshine Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Queensland's leading civil contractors, overseeing crews and subcontractors while driving safe, high-quality project outcomes.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Supervising daily site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification
- Leading site crews, subcontractors and plant resources to achieve project milestones
- Coordinating construction activities in accordance with project programs, plans and specifications
- Monitoring quality, productivity and compliance across all site operations
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to WHS requirements
- Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
- Mentoring and developing Leading Hands and site personnel
About you:
- Demonstrated experience as a Foreman delivering civil construction projects
- Proven experience across subdivisions, bulk earthworks, roadworks and general civil infrastructure
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects to agreed quality, safety and program outcomes
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Driver Licence
- Relevant plant operation tickets and/or civil construction qualifications will be highly regarded
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety and continuous improvement
