About the Role
The Manager Workplace Health and Safety leads the enterprise work health and safety, psychosocial risk, injury prevention and recovery system for Legal Aid NSW.
The role provides expert advice to the executive, Board and senior leaders on safety exposure, regulatory compliance and control effectiveness, and drives a preventative, compliant and evidence-based safety culture across a geographically dispersed workforce.

Essential Requirements
Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency
Undertake relevant pre-employment checks such as Criminal Record Check, and Conduct Service Check
Possess relevant tertiary qualification in work health and safety, occupational health, allied health, risk, human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of NSW work health and safety legislation and contemporary psychosocial risk management requirements.
Be willing to travel to regional and metropolitan offices as required
