Barista Opportunity – Sonny’s Café, Murarrie ☕
Sonny’s Café is looking for a friendly and experienced barista to join our team.
We’re a neighbourhood café known for quality coffee, fresh food, and genuine hospitality. Our goal is to create a welcoming place for both our customers and our staff, and we take pride in the relaxed, supportive culture we’ve built.
About the role
We’re currently hiring a casual barista for approximately 20-25 hours per week.
This position requires weekday morning availability, as most shifts will take place during our busy morning service.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing consistently high-quality coffee
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Supporting daily café operations including opening setup and end-of-day pack down
- Working closely with the team to keep service running smoothly
What we’re looking for
- Around 1–3 years of barista experience
- Comfortable working in a busy café environment
- Confident pouring milk and producing basic latte art
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset
- Passion for coffee and creating a great customer experience
- Must have valid Australian work rights
