Carbuyers is looking for a confident and motivated Casual / Part-Time Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team in Burwood.
This role involves contacting private vehicle sellers from online listings, speaking with owners about their cars, and identifying opportunities for Carbuyers to purchase quality vehicles.
We are looking for someone with automotive industry experience who understands cars, enjoys conversations with customers, and has the confidence to negotiate and build relationships over the phone.
Key responsibilities:
- Contact private vehicle sellers from online automotive platforms
- Speak with owners about their vehicles, condition, history and selling expectations
- Identify suitable vehicles for purchase by Carbuyers
- Build rapport and negotiate with sellers professionally
- Arrange vehicle inspections and next steps with interested sellers
- Maintain accurate records of customer conversations and opportunities
About you:
- Previous automotive experience is highly preferred (car sales, dealership, vehicle purchasing,
- automotive service, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of vehicles, makes, models and market values
- Confident, professional phone manner
- Comfortable making outbound calls and negotiating
- Motivated, reliable and results-driven
