ABOUT THE ROLE
Designer Transport is a national logistics and transport business, headquartered in Erskine Park NSW, with operations spanning across Australia. We are looking to fill a broad, end-to-end finance operations role, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fortnightly payroll processing. The role runs to fixed weekly and fortnightly cycles, deadlines are recurring and non-negotiable. If you are detail-oriented and self-managing, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Accounts Payable
- Process and code supplier invoices, and reconciling against expected costs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Support the approval process, by liaising with various operations managers
- Prepare AP payment runs, and submit for approval
Accounts Receivable
- Generate client invoices on the weekly billing cycle
- Manage claims and billing disputes through to resolution
- Monitor debtor accounts and follow up outstanding balances
- Apply and reconcile payments
Payroll
- Process fortnightly payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate employee records including new starters, terminations, and variations
General
· Support the end of month process
· Process end of month intercompany cross charging
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Demonstrated experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy under time pressure
- Reliably meet weekly and fortnightly deadlines
- Ability to manage a varied workload and balance competing priorities independently
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience advantageous)
- Strong communication skills being able to liaise with clients, suppliers, and staff
- Transport or logistics industry experience is an advantage, but not essential
Pay: $64,949.16 – $75,000.00 per year
