About the role
As our Derrimut Distribution Centre continues to grow, we are now expanding our Operations workforce. Join a team of 30+ staff and volunteers responsible for the day-to-day movement of stock within the Distribution Centre, along with the delivery and collection of donations from depots and retail partners.
In this role, you will support the Operations Team Leader and work closely with the Merchandise Sorting and Logistics teams to help keep our national distribution facility running efficiently.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in confidently operating a high reach & counter-balance forklift
- Experience in unloading or loading trucks and vans
- Ability to perform a carton pick, pack and dispatch process
- High attention to detail with the ability to organise and maintain a manual inventory storage system
- Knowledge and experience in pallet/stillage control
- Experience driving a small truck or van in metro and regional areas for stock collection and delivery (knowledge of Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs an advantage)
- Light Rigid Licence
- Comfortable navigating and utilizing various computer systems and applications such Microsoft Suite and Inventory Management Systems.
Please note - A current unrestricted driver’s licence and a current valid forklift licence are mandatory requirements for this role.
