About the Role:
Are you an experienced Phlebotomist looking for a new opportunity?
Customer Services, ACT Pathology, serves as the vital link between patients, clinicians and the laboratory. The team is responsible for collecting pathology samples from patients across Canberra Hospital, North Canberra Hospital, National Capital Private Hospital, community-based outpatient collection centres, and through a home collection service for patients who are too frail to attend an outpatient facility.
Under the direction of the Customer Services Manager and the Pathology Collections Manager, you will perform collection procedures across all sites and undertake a variety of duties, including reception services, data entry, stock maintenance, and acting as a liaison between patients and clinicians.
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable professional with strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to apply professional and technical knowledge, understand and follow relevant legislation and procedures, work flexibly across multiple locations, and contribute positively as part of a collaborative team.
Customer Services operates Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, between 7:00am and 5:30pm.
This part-time Phlebotomist position requires availability to work five hours per day, five days per week, at any ACT Pathology location across the ACT.
