The Marble Man is seeking a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player, with excellent customer service, hands on skills and wants to learn something new everyday, to join our growing business in our Sydney team. We are after a long term team member who will grow with the business for the many years to come in the future.
We specialise in Polishing, Repairing, Cleaning & Sealing marble and other stone surfaces. Our successful and reputable business, based with head office on the Gold Coast, has been servicing Northern NSW to the Sunshine Coast for the past 30 years. We have now been operating in Sydney and Canberra for the last 5 years. Due to an increased demand for Stone Restoration in the Brisbane area we now require another full time on site technician dedicated to the Brisbane area.
Position Details
You will be responsible for polishing, restoring, cleaning and maintaining stone surfaces in prestige homes and buildings, dealing with clients face to face in order to leave a positive lasting impression with every client.
You will be responsible for completing jobs by yourself in a company supplied van with all equipment.
Experience
1) None.
2) Be able to learn to polish stone floors using abrasives and polishing compounds
3) Learn the use of glues and epoxies to be able to repair stone benchtops and floor
4) Learn to use floor polishers and hand grinders
5) Learn and become knowledgable about the types of stone and its manufacture
6) You must be good with your hands, love to see a finished result and enjoy problem solving.
7) You must also be able to communicate in english with clients and build rapore to a high level
8) Have a clean cut respectable appearance.
Training
You will receive full updated training on our stone restoration processes and procedures.
