Child Care Worker
At ALL ABOUT ME EARLY LEARNING CENTRE PTY LTD, we are looking for a skilled Child Care Worker to work on a full-time basis (at least 38 hours per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities that support children's early literacy, language development and school readiness.
· Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and social development by helping them identify and manage their feelings, build self-confidence and develop positive relationships with peers.
· Facilitating hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, logical thinking and problem-solving skills in young children through play-based learning and guided investigations.
· Leading physical development sessions that build children's gross and fine motor skills through movement-based play, adapting activities to suit each child's individual developmental stage.
· Observing and documenting each child's developmental progress, using findings to inform and adapt program planning in line with best practice early childhood education principles.
· Communicating regularly with families regarding their child's daily experiences, developmental milestones and overall wellbeing, maintaining open and supportive relationships.
· Maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment that respects the individual needs, cultural backgrounds and unique identities of all children in care.
Requirement:
· Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
· At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
· Able to prioritise tasks, meet daily program deadlines, and manage multiple children's needs and activities efficiently.
· Positive, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality care and education outcomes for children.
Position: Full Time
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
