As a Bricklaying Apprentice, you’ll get hands-on training across major commercial and residential projects that shape the Sydney Metro Area. If you’re team-oriented, love working outdoors, and aren’t afraid to get a bit dirty, this is your opportunity to start strong in a trusted trade.
As part of this apprenticeship, you'll earn a Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying, while working on multiple sites across the Sydney metro area.
Some of Your Duties Will Include:
Laying bricks and blocks with precision.
Mixing mortar and operating cement mixers.
General labouring and site clean-up.
Using brick saws, hand tools, and power tools.
Reading and interpreting construction plans.
Setting up formwork and constructing masonry steps/stairs.
Applying WHS policies and working safely on-site.
Communicating effectively with your team and supervisors.
How to Get Started:
Hold a valid White Card or be willing to obtain one
Have your Ps - own transport preferred, early starts are part of the deal
Be physically fit and ready for hands-on work
Have a solid work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and a desire to learn
